Utah Olympic Park
Watch or participate in Olympic-style events at this park, where several 2002 Olympic events were held. The park hosts national and international competitions and training events including nordic jumping and the sliding sports of bobsled, luge and skeleton. Website
 
Mountain Biking

All three resorts offer great mountain biking trails. Trails are also abundant in nearby areas outside the resorts.

The surrounding hills of Park City offer more than 150 miles of public trails for hiking and biking purposes.

Fishing
There’s excellent fly fishing on the nearby Provo and other rivers, and excellent fishing, boating and water skiing on Jordanelle Reservoir.
 
 
Uinta Mountains

This area is the gateway to the High Uintas, – the highest mountains in Utah. Here you’ll find hundreds of small lakes and streams, a lush forest and numerous campgrounds. The area is choice for hiking, backpacking, camping and fishing.

Soldier Hollow

This Olympic venue now offers world-class cross country ski trails, with sections designed for enthusiasts of all skill levels – from novice up to Olympic athlete. Soldier Hollow is primarily known for winter activities but also hosts a variety of activities throughout the fall, spring and summer.

Park City Mountain Resort
Alpine Slide. It's one of the longest slides in the world and we've added two new tracks for more curls, swirls, dips and turns. You'll slide down 550 vertical feet over 3,000 feet of track. See you at the finish!
 
The ZipRider®. We've added two new cables!

Click in and get ready for the mountain’s biggest adrenaline rush. The ZipRider™ propels you 110 feet above the Resort’s ski runs at speeds up to 60 miles per hour. Race your friends to see who’s the fastest on one of four ZipRider™ cables. Click here to see a video of the ZipRider.

And now with four cables, Park City Mountain Resort's ZipRider™ provides a ride unlike any other, covering a distance of 2,300 feet with a vertical drop of 550 feet — the longest in the world!

 
Climbing Wall Don't look down until you reach the top. This is the chance to test your big wall climbing skills. Each climber is safely secured in a climbing harness, equipped with an automatic belay device and closely monitored by Climbing Wall attendants. With five different routes to choose from you could spend all afternoon conquering this mountain. Located in the Resort Plaza.
 
Biking. There are acres and acres of mountain terrain to challenge both intermediate and advanced riders. Get a head start uphill by hitching a ride on the lift. Take the local’s favorite Town Lift or the base area PayDay Lift to access the mountain’s network of single track trails. Mountain bike rentals available at the Resort base area.
 
Hiking. Whether you prefer hiking along scenic access roads or exploring our mining heritage on pristine trails, you’re bound to discover just the right path amidst the beauty of Park City Mountain Resort. It’s even lift-served, if you desire.
 
Little Miners Club. Keep the little ones smiling with amusement park rides at the base of the mountain. This land of adventure includes a merry-go-round, kiddie car ride and choo-choo train.
 
Human Maze. This larger-than-life labyrinth is truly a-mazing! Kids of all ages can race against the clock or each other in this unique adventure. Watch and guide friends from the viewing platform.
 
Legacy Launcher. With four trampolines it’s easy to bounce, flip and fly. Don’t worry Mom, each is equipped with a safety harness. Try your tricks here, then put ‘em to use next winter in the Resort’s top-ranked terrain parks and superpipe. Located in the Resort Plaza.
 
Miniature Golf. Tucked at the base of the Resort, our 18-hole miniature golf course is fun for everyone in the family. Surrounded by budding foliage and mountain views, it’s just the place to improve your short game. Grab your putter and treat the family to a round!
 
Diggler Scooters. Hang onto your handlebars on a heavy-duty scooter, equipped with brakes. You’ll bump and glide through the mountains on one of these two-wheeled beauties.
 
Horseback Riding. The Wasatch mountains are breathtaking on horseback! Rocky Mountain Recreation specializes in guided outdoor tours. Trail rides leave throughout the day guided by experienced wranglers who know the best and most scenic trails. Town Lift. There’s easy access from Historic Main Street to Park City Mountain Resort’s world of summer activities. Stroll and shop Main Street’s bistros, bars and boutiques, then escape to the hills via a scenic ride up the Town Lift. Bring your mountain bike and helmet or your hiking shoes for a memorable descent through cool alpine trails. Sightseeing visitors and shutterbugs will love riding the lift back down for its panoramic view of Park City’s vibrant “Old Town”.

Course Description
This Jack Nicklaus course designed in the Scottish links tradition has 105 sand bunkers and water on 12 holes. Excellent catering services & banquet facilities. Other amenities include a fitness center and pool.

Course Description
Tucked up against the Wasatch Mountains, the Homestead Resort Golf Course provides a beautiful backdrop for play. The front nine takes you up a mountain slope for fantastic views of the Heber Valley and surrounding mountains. The back nine meanders through the picturesque Snake Creek Valley. The views and two distinct types of terrain make for a memorable and exciting golf outing.

Designed by Senior PGA Touring Professional Bruce Summerhays, the Homestead Resort Golf Course was recently named “Best of State” and a top-rated course on the Zagat and ESPN list for American courses. The challenging course provides excellent customer service and an award-winning pro shop.


Wasatch Mountain State Park

Midway, Utah is the site of one of the state’s most popular public golf courses. Voted one of the “Best Places to Play” by Golf Digest, the spectacular Wasatch Mountain State Park boasts a 36-hole facility, complete with a comfortable, full-service clubhouse, beautiful practice green and driving range and an on-site restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.

 


Soldier Hollow

Soldier Hollow's two 18-hole golf courses are named Gold and Silver, to reflect its Olympic heritage. The Gold Course is 7,598 yards from the Championship Tees. Its layout sits at some of the highest elevations of the complex offering stunning views of the Heber Valley below. The Silver Course is 7,355 from the Championship Tees. It is situated lower on the site and showcases views of Mount Timpanogas.

Opening June 23, 2004, Soldier Hollow Golf Course is the newest addition to Utah's beautiful Wasatch Mountain State Park.

Gene Bates Golf Design provided the unique design, which boasts native Utah vegetation, one of the longest courses in the State and the originality of being the only golf course built on an Olympic venue. Along with other Bates' projects — from Florida’s wetlands to the coastal regions of California and the rocky desert of Southern Utah to the Green Mountains of Vermont — Soldier Hollow's 36-hole complex is sure to become a favorite golf destination.

Homestead Crater

A natural hot springs cavern inside a large rock dome.

Need a new thrill? Dive into one of the planet’s most unusual swimming holes. Tucked away in the sleepy town of Midway, Utah, Homestead Crater is a 55-foot-high dome filled halfway with 96-degree spring waters rich in minerals. It’s the perfect retreat after a chilly day of schussing at one of the four ski areas in nearby Park City.
